Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

The Clear Line Reporting (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our services, why we collect it and how we handle it. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Information you send us. When you email us, use the contact form (which opens your own email app) or book a call, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and message.
  • Booking details. Discovery calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Google collects the details you enter and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.
  • Website usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device type and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies. We do not use this data to identify you.
  • Client data. When we deliver reporting work, we may access loan and customer data held by our clients. That access is governed by a separate written agreement with each client, and we handle it only on the client’s instructions.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange meetings.
  • To provide, manage and invoice our services.
  • To improve this website and understand which content is useful.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business, including Google (email, calendar, analytics and website hosting through Firebase). These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what they need to provide their service.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure, access-controlled accounts with multi-factor authentication. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing reportingservices@theclearlinereporting.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
